We took the original Friendship II, made some changes, and created a more sleek, spacious and comfortable sidecar. This single seater is so easy to get in and out of with its full opening, hinged front end that utilizes dual gas shocks to assist in raising. The cockpit provides a plush bucket seat and large windshield for maximum passenger comfort. We’ve also added a trunk with separate lid for 3.7 cubic feet of storage capacity. Beautiful, sleek looks make the Friendship II SE an ideal complement to any motorcycle, and our available accessories let you equip the sidecar to hilt.

Mounting: Friendship Sets The Industry Standards.
The hardware that attaches the sidecar to your motorcycle is absolutely critical and our brackets set the standard. Meticulously designed (and manufactured in-house), our brackets carry a Lifetime warranty and will be replaced FREE anytime they show fatigue. No welding is required. Consider this:
- A Patented 4-point mounting, utilizing GRADE 8 aircraft quality bolts and nylock nuts.
- Every sidecar is shipped with mounting hardware specifically designed to fit the year, make and model of your motorcycle.
- Initial installation takes 8-14 hours using simple hand tools and minimal mechanical ability. Full mounting instructions are included.
- Our "quick disconnect" system lets you disconnect and reattach the sidecar in about 15 minutes.
- Mounting brackets can be ordered separately to adapt the sidecar to a new motorcycle.

Body: Performance and Looks

Frame: Simply The Best Construction
- Mandrel bent 1 3/4" steel tubing, ladder type construction, built to SAE standard specifications.
- All adjustment points are double locked or nylocked with plated GRADE 8 bolts and nylock nuts to insure reliability.
- Frame mounting struts are electrostatically power-coated high gloss black to resist rust and corrosion.
- Friendship Series roll out smoothly a 145SR13 wide profile radial tire mounted on a 13" mag aluminum cast D.O.T. approved wheel.

Electric Lean 
California Sidecar’s Electric Lean Adjustment allows you to adjust the lean-angle of the motorcycle with the flick of a switch, in order to compensate for changing conditions. This accessory is highly recommended for anyone that does any long-distance riding or touring.
The degree to which a sidecar tracks true down the road is affected by road conditions, wind, varying weight loads and other variables. A change in one condition can cause an otherwise well-balanced rig to pull to the right or left. A switch on the handle bar activates a linear actuator mounted on the sidecar swing arm. This raises or lowers the frame thereby adjusting the lean-angle of the motorcycle and eliminating the sidecar pull. With this option your rig can be trimmed while underway. The actuator is a self-enclosed water proof unit that is mounted where it does not intrude on valuable trunk storage space.

Sidecar Brake System
Add increased stopping power and control to any California Sidecar, with our integrated disc brake system. A Brembo caliper and rotor is mounted to the sidecar hub to add extra braking to your sidecar rig. A quick disconnect coupler allows for easy attachment and detachment.

Steering Damper
Some sidecar combinations may have a slow-speed front-wheel wobble. It usually occurs at speeds between 5 to 20 m.p.h. The wobble can be very minimal to pronounced, depending on the combination of sidecar and motorcycle. The wobble can be controlled by a firm grip on the handle bars, or by the use of hydraulic stabilizer cylinder. California Sidecar's steering damper provides 50-50 dampening, 9 stage valving and a 3 inch stroke. Comes standard in black, optional factory color match available.
